Anyone ages 11-18* is welcome to join. We are always looking for more people to kick off the on-water season!
2024 SEASON
Our season runs from May through August, with practices twice a week and two local festivals.
The Lonely Dragons team consists of youths from many different area school districts ranging in age from 11-18*. You do not need to have experience to join, we'll teach you!
The membership fee is $75 per paddler.
This fee covers two festivals and two practices per week. Team shirts and parking passes for festivals are extra and optional.
We provide paddles and personal floatation devices for each paddler.

To register, please fill out the registration form, waivers (3), and submit payment, below.
​* You must be 12 to compete in a festival, however 11-year-old paddlers can participate in practices and scrimmages with the team.
PRACTICES ARE HELD:
Sundays from 4pm - 5:30pm & Wednesdays from 6pm - 7:30pm
Dragon Boat Dock, 1233 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
All paddlers will be invited to join a team organization app to indicate practice availability and be alerted of weather changes.
FOR SUNDAY PRACTICES:
​MLK Drive is closed to traffic until 5pm on Sundays. Enter via Montgomery Drive, and tell the guard you are headed to the dragon boat dock to be allowed through. Drive 10 mph on the drive to enter the parking lot.
Use "Belmont Waterworks" to enter via Montgomery Drive. The dock and parking lot are just past the large white tent.
